If you Jtagging a Xbox for the first time/Soldering for the first time, I would recommend getting a "Donor" motherboard from eBay, Just type in "Xbox 360 Motherboard" and purchase one, They are all fairly cheap.
Practice your soldering on a Broken Xbox before starting the real thing. I would recommend that to any, Because I Didn't practice my first time, And I broke a Taggable Falcon.

I would also highly recommend purchasing Flux to help with the soldering, It just helps so much and makes soldering 80% Easier!!

Still No Luck? .. De-solder and Re-Solder all the wires.

Well i have some bad news. It looks like since i'm in the U.S. this video is blocked for me, apparently "The UMG and/or EMI have blocked it in my country on copyright grounds." Also, no offence but there are hundreds of JTAG tutorials all over the internet, and i think there is one already stickied here. Plus from what i can tell you only deal with one type of console, where as the wiring is different between HDMI/ Non-HDMI consoles. And then once you get into the HDMI consoles there are a few different wiring methods to choose from (original, AUD_Clamp, AUD_Clamp & DVD Tray, and boxxdr's transistor method) My point is there are many more detailed tutorials around, and they actually work in my country.

That's because xenon motherboards//non-HDMO, are the easiest to Jtag do I used it for the tutorial, but with a HDMI motherboard id have had to mess about with the DB1F1 point, or the SMC points, and I didn't want to mess about with them as the video would have been long and my internet has crap upload speed.

If you want me to I'll do a HDMI Jtag tutorial, and a RGH tutorial if it pleases you?

I'm just saying there are already plenty of these tutorials out on the web and many of them are way more detailed, we really don't need anymore. I applaud you for trying, but it really is just an old topic. It's a shame though because you do sound like you know what you are doing, and it seems there is too many people that have already forgotten about the JTAG in lieu of the RGH.
