Best $200 SB CPU out on the market matched up with the best sub $30 air cooler out will get you a nice 4.2 - 4.5ghz overclock by adjusting a few settings in the BIOS. There are like zero half decent red/green cases that can fit in this budget without compromising something ( red NZXT Phantom 410 ) - the Zalman Z9 comes with a generous smoked side window and 4 x blue LED fans so it won't look terribly bad.
COD, L4D, and D3 are not demanding and it'll easily run smoothly on max with this system. BF3 is the most demanding game out right and it's a good benchmark to see if a video card is good or not.

50 FPS at 1080p = smooth gameplay. It's a rock solid card.
Enjoy.

I'm not suggesting a Raidmax product, sorry. I can tell you right now that the air flow is going to poor, less than desirable build quality, and outdated features. If you want a sexy white case, there are better options out there like the NZXT Phantom 410, Fractal R3, Level 10 GTs, and the 400R.

If you want over the top gaming performance, drop down to an i3-2100 and increase the video card to a 6950 / 7850 for example. White case as desired ( only half decent Thermaltake product in existence ). Standard DVD burner and HDD for boot + storage drive. Corsair A50 ( Hyper 212 copycat ) + a generous 2500k is a killer deal. The PSU is complete overkill but it's way too good of a deal to pass up - great reliability + a 7 year warranty. XfX 7770 is a great mid range video card and as a bonus you have XfX'x amazing lifetime warranty. If you start to price match it, you can easily knock off $75 to $100 which is more than enough for a simply WIFI card and some run of the mill KB / mouse combo.
