You can use a soft cloth like a sock. If you were to use the sock just put it on your hand. Come in from the back with the sock where the laser is. Move into the path of the disc so you block it from spinning. The disc should come to a stop instantly. Try to keep the disc level when you stop it. Pushing it down or up can cause scratches on the outer parts of the disc. After you stop the disc take it out, and quickly remove the sock and place the modded disc in your drive.

The soft cloth is not for you jackass. It's for the disc. We obviously don't want any scratches.
