It's the Memorex my friend. Had the same problems. Except I didn't use Deadlyfishs.
Memorex worked for me with several games, but not with GTA IV. It always said unreadable at 51%, and froze when I tried to play it directly. I'm like 99% positive that's your problem.

So u do get the open trey error when u sometimes try and play? If so its definitely your disk drive and u will have to replace it in order to fix this problem if u have the old xbox its a really cheap fix

nah its not my hard drive for sure bcus i just know it lol, it never happens really

it is certainly not memorex because all i use is memorex and it has successfully worked every time on various games and patches.... you most likely messed up

... Hard drive? im talking about ur disk drive... if u get the open trey error what so ever when trying to boot up a game this is ur problem buying new disks will do u nothing... i use memorex as well

i dont, it just freezes whenever i play it directly and whenever i get to 29% now, its constant, it says that the disc is dirty or scratched
