Why do people assume that when you have Gold you're better than everyone else?

I've been a 2year member and have 700+ posts and there's people with like 150 and joined last month and they're like, "L0l No0bZzz u dnt hv gld ur nt a real ttg member".

Of course I'd like to get gold but It doesn't mean you're better than someone without it:P!

In my eyes, gold members and non members are the same.

Being a gold member does not in any way make you better than non gold.

What, people think they're better because they have a coloured name and a badge?

We all used to be or are non-gold members. We pay 6$ a month and I think it's appropriate for a bit of bragging rights.

6 dollars is not hard to get at all, I dont see how you should get bragging rights. And quite honestly, its overpriced.

Mhh I see what your saying, but some people ( not me of course I could care less) have over 2k posts and have gold to show that they " accomplished" something but idk I didn't buy gold someone gifted and I don't really know what the difference is besides changing the color of your name

Gold members and non gold members are the same. But, $6 isn't that much so if it gives some people a feeling of being better than non gold members, let them be ignorant.
