and I thought I would use these 2 weeks as a class. So I have been learning how to make
forum signatures, Specifically smudge art, to share with you on TTG. In the next few days
you guys are gonna be seeing alot of Forum Signatures, Just saying!

I normally don't comment on beginner's signature's. But since lately that is ALL I'm seeing, I guess I'll start giving feedback to both intermediate and beginners. That way in future, we will all be good.

So there's a lot wrong with this. For starters, the gradient map used was just awful, you need to work on making the colors more vibrant. Properly used gradient maps WILL get you that vibrant look you seek. Now lets talk about the smudging. I myself, aren't very skilled in the field of smudging. However, I have looked at so many tutorials, and given so much feedback for smudging, that I can help you out. When you are smudging you normally want to keep all the smudge going into one direction, just so the flow of the signature isn't corrupted. You also ALWAYS want to incorporate the render(focal point) into the smudge. Nothing looks worst than a render sitting on top of a smudged background(and I mean nothing). When you're smudging do not be afraid to go outside of "just smudging". Let me explain myself; you can always, and i mean always, add a fractal or two. This will make the whole signature look so much nicer. After you get the hang of adding fractals, you should start incorporating c4d's and clipping masks.

To sum it all up, you should probably look at some tutorials(preferably not off youtube). I can refer you to some websites like devianarts, or signaturetutorials. If, after looking there you do not find the right tutorials, I'll be more than happy to help you grow as an artist myself.
