This is what i did,
I dug down to bedrock, watch out for lava , and dug back up 5 blocks and went to the slime finder [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and dug the area that it told me to dig. i had about four chunks around me so i dug about 100x100 well actually i used TNT xD then i waited about 30 minutes and bam i saw like 3 giant slimes and 2 medium ones, u dont have to be away from the chuncks for them to spawn. although it does help to increase the speed. Make sure u put the torches to light up the room in the ceiling or on the walls. Your room has to be lit up or others hostile mobs beside slimes will spawn :] Hope i Helped! please leave feedback <3 :2thumbsup:

EDIT: I forgot to tell you guys and gals you dont have to build your area that big! :]

you dont have to light it up you do that so other mobs wont spawn :nyancat:
