Everybody has Beats nowadays so forget that l0l, but i seen some new headphones on ebay there called - SOL Republic Tracks HD. I looked at review of them on youtube and they look B.A and people were saying they have better sound quality then the beats they only cost $130.

Unfortunately they're not so great for the exact same reason Beats are. They have promise, but end up being pretty disappointing, especially compared to something like the California Headphones Laredo.

There's a very similar thread on Head-Fi, but I don't think it's as TTG-friendly as this. Aside from that, I don't know of anything like it!

Just built a new computer rig for $1,000, wondering how I'm going to pay for new cans. Guess I'm stuck with my M50s and Porta75s until... Who knows when. When I have enough for Q701s with an ODAC and O2.

Speaking of the Porta75s (Portapro drivers with KSC75 clip), I may have created the ugliest clip-on headphones the world has ever known. Good thing they sound good. The KSC75 does not handle bass well AT ALL, but does definitely have better highs.

Eh, still a 1/10. It'd be a 2 if he got more than a sentence, or me waving my e-peen and listing my gear, which has increased since then.

And I actually have tried the SOL's. They're marginally worse than the Laredos, and considering they're a lot cheaper than the SOL's, they're uhh, sol.

And your Porta75 is basically the KSC35's people raved about years ago. I tried that with my Portas since I kind of destroyed my KSC75's (and I'm too lazy to drive an hour and a half to Milwaukee to Koss HQ so they'll stay broken until I need to go up for some reason), and I liked it more than the original pair. They were a little less bright than the 75's since they don't use that bright titanium driver coating. I wish the clips allowed a for little more bass though.
