I have turtle beaches and I love them. I have been using them for about 3 years now and i can't say a bad thing about them except that they are battery hogs, with a rechargeable battery they are great though

Pear wrote Ok so im doing work experience and as a reward my dad is letting me get a new gaming headset... iv been looking for a few days and so far iv found this one
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
So what i want to know is this a good headset to get for games such as call of duty and battlefield etc or can i get a better one which will be more efficient.
This would also help if it is wireless, doesn't mess up with other signals such as radio, has surround sound, comfy, easy to here other people in party when playing games and in a price range of 150 (i can go over by a bit)
P.s i will rep for help and it needs to be compatible with xbox 360
The headset you chose their is only PS3 Compatible.

I own the XP500's myself and I must say the programmability of these are amazing. The PX5's feature the same programmability and work for both consoles.
Astro's are said to be "the best" basically only because they wee MLG approved except Turtle Beach also is now.
I've used both and there was almost no difference between the Astro's and Turtle Beaches.
Now the 7.1 surround sound, only like 1 or 2 Xbox games are actually encoded in 7.1 formats. One of those games being Prototype and maybe there are others. The best you're getting is 5.1 because none of the games are encoded to use 7.1.
