Ok so a couple minutes ago my xbox signed out and the internet shut off on my xbox ONLY. I don't know but I can connect on my laptop fine. It can connect to the network but not the internet? Please help! +rep for anyone who fixes this problem!

This happens often to me what I do is disconnect t the router for 30 seconds then plug it in after that I wait about 15 min and it always works for me fine... Hope that helped

I already tried that sadly. But what I don't get is it isn't happening to the computers in the house?

This Happens All The Time To Me, I Usually Just Disconnect Completely From Everything On The Internet. Then Unplug The Router/Modem, Including Xbox.

I think I had a similar problem. What is most likely happening is your xbox if not finding the IP and Subnet mask of your network. What you have to do is change the IP/SNM settings to manuel, and type in your IP adress and subnet mask.

Mine has disconnected too, it might be a problem with XBL, just wait awhile, go eat and wait ;)
