Yes there should be a trial for any arcade game. Go onto the minecraft thing and select trial

find minecraft on the xbox marketplace then there should be an option to download the trial

Yes there is, go to the games tab on the xbox dashboard
hit marketplace
go to the arcade section

hit all games a-z
find minecraft
when you select it there should be an option to "download trial"

Don't bother buying it, get it for PC I don't even play it for xbox, I bought it.
