I set up my hd pvr to my hd tv and every time I try to record a sow it says capture failed... and I made sure the cords are in the correct spots....?

is your console set to 720p? i had a problem with my pvr where it wasnt set up to 720p so it didnt work

Have you tryed uninstalling the software and re installing it?

if you have no picture then plug your xbox straight to your tv then change your settings to 720p then plug it back into the pvr, it should work

It did that to me for awhile too so i just restarted my computer and it worked just fine.
