Hey I'm 16 years old and I work at a gas station from 3-7 and I feel like it is honestly making me unhappy and kinda depressed. I make 140 a week working Monday through Friday and at first I thought it was awesome but now I feel like I am losing my child hood and keep in mind I have only been working there for about 3-4 months. I guess I'm starting to realize money isn't everything especially since I can no longer hang out with my friends because my hours are terrible and I can't change them because my boss says he needs me during those hours. Anyway do you think I should quit and I also feel bad because my stepdad got me the job and is good friends with my boss.
P.s. it's not that the work is to hard or my boss sucks its just that I really don't feel like I need the money and I wanna go back to feeling free and doing whatever I want whenever.

Well, if he is your Step Dad, tell him how you feel. Say that you would be so much better in a new job or environment.

I am sure that he would understand. If you stay in that job, you will just have to find time at the weekends to hang out with friends.

You are making very little,You should find a better job.I make $360 a week at my job and still have alot of time with my friends/Girlfriend.Do what you need to do.
