well I searched around a tad and found a post on another forum showing the "so-to-speak" original version of the woodcut

Now really look at both back and forth, and you see the one that is said to be the slenderman has incorrect shading and very sloppy leg extensions. Note I am not discrediting slenderman in genreal, I'm discrediting this picture that showed it as a straight murderer which doesn't even fit the rest of the tale. Why would he kill a grown man anyways?

So because of a game, you think a mythical creature is real then try to do research to prove it's real? If that's the case you could of at least put in more effort in this..
