If you plan on putting your xbox live account on your jtag, then no. Turn parental settings on, then have only xbox live blocked

U can do system link with each end connected to each xbox.. thats how mine is.. no need for router or adapter... just make sure u have tu7 installed in your jtag's cache! then it will show up

ur so luck im here lol. Download this file. Put it on a usb then go into xex menu, copy the file and paste into the cache folder on your jtags hardrive. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Make sure you have the correct title updates for the game on both consoles hard drives.

And yes, you are doing it correctly. You do not need your router to system link, you can use one cable.
