I doubt you have watched FOX news enough to make these kinds of accusations. You certainly have wasted more than enough time watching people complain about FOX news. The people who say that FOX is a government conspiracy are just mad that there are two sides to the argument. Why don't you complain that the New York Times writers or CNN reporters are mostly liberal. And if you think that O'Reilly is "dumb" his MPA at Harvard University says otherwise. This is not the website that you should be posting this. This is primarily a gaming website with a member base of teenagers and kids. As MrScrandy has comically said, "You sir are a pinhead."

Please quote me where i have said that there isnt another side to the argument. I have watched enough of fox news to know that they often make mistakes and their general conduct is incredibly opinionated considering it is a news channel. Maybe picking on bill individually wasnt the right thing to do however i stick to my belief that he is too stupid for his position. This isnt the wrong place to post this as ut is the younger generation that will be affected by propaganda spread by fox. I was looking for conversation and it looks like i've got one. Hopefully you will keep it civil and not resort to ad hominem attacks like you already have.
Sorry if there are spelling mistakes i am writing this on an iphone which i am not used to.

Please quote me on where I said that you said that there isn't another side to the the arguement. What mistakes are you talking about? About being opiniated, have you watched Katie Couric, Keith Olberman, or Rachel Maddow? Bill is qualified for his position. He is one of the reasons for FOX news' tremendous success. I have no idea how anyone could think he is stupid. I recall somewhere saying that he scored almost 1600 on his SAT. Just because his ideology is different than your's doesn't make him stupid. I would bet money that he is smarter than you and 99 percent of Americans. I still believe that this is the wrong place for this. Kids can have liberal ideas shoved into their brain in college. A little Off Topic, how old are you? (Not meant as an insult)

Well, saying this might ruin my entire argument if you use it correctly, i;m from the UK so I watch BBC. My problem with FOX news is that the reporters let their opinions get in the way. You would never see a reporters opinion be factored into a BBC News report.
But considering what you have just said, are all or the majority of American news channels like that?

I said that this is a conspiracy, you said that people who say this is a conspiracy don't understand that there is another side to the argument which in turn means you said that I didn't understand there was another side to the argument.
Mistakes like when the trial of Jerry Sandusky and they showed a tape of Mitch Daniels. or when Obama was taking a trip across Europe and they got the price of the trip entirely wrong which made Obama look bad.
I haven't watched any of those people or I might have and don't know their names. He may be qualified for his position and might have scored 1600 on his SAT but that doesn't mean he can twist the truth to suit himself. Everyone knows Fox does this on a daily basis. If he did it off screen where millions of people can't see him I would have no problem with it, but because he becomes a megaphone for lies and fraud I have a right to be angry about it.
Do you think that he conducts himself well in interviews? Do you not think that he is abusive and narrow minded on some subjects? His ideology is so warped because he won't let any one else change his opinions. He simply cuts them off when it's something he doesn't want to hear. In my opinion, a man who does that should not have his own show.
I'm 19.
Thanks for being civil.

I suppose you are right. I don't live in America so I don't know what the impacts are on day to day life of these different views. From what I have seen of Fox I think I jumped to a conclusion too quickly. Every news channel has dumb moments, yes?
So, there are no news channels which just report straight facts on events and don't invoke a reporters personal opinion?
I'm glad I live in the UK.
Sorry for this whole incident. I only really called this a conspiracy so it had a valid reason to be on this forum. I could delete the topic if you like but I would like to wait and see what Seal has to say...
I apologize once again.

The first mistake is very minor so who cares. I'm sure they corrected themselves if that did happen.
I didn't realize you were from england. In the USA, all of the anchors are biased no matter what channel. FOX news, however, is the only channel that has both liberal AND conservative bias. I've been to England and can say that the delivery of the news there is very boring compared to the USA. The media needs some bias (opinion) or everyone is like a robot, which isn't entertaining. Here in the USA people want to be entertained while watching the news.
Just because they don't think like you doesn't mean they are twisting the truth. I don't think that hosts liberal or conservative twist the truth. It may seem that they do if you disagree with what they are saying.
He is known for giving great interviews because he gets information. He is not abusive, he is no nonsense. Again when you don't agree with what someone is saying, everything sounds bad.
If you get one thing from this, you need to know that there is bias on both sides. And that when you don't agree with someone, you can't help but feel they are in the wrong.

I understand now, to me it seemed unreal that the reporters would mix their own views with the facts as that would never happen in England.
Once again I should have got more information about typical news in the US before making this post.
One thing i still don't understand is, on nearly every video of FOX news on Youtube there is a huge amount of likes on videos where people 'own' bill and a huge amount of dislikes on videos where FOX 'owns' someone. How is this possible if what you're saying is true? Every single comment backs up what I've been saying all along...?
