Yuck, rather dual boot Ubuntu and Windows. You can do everything you can do on OS X and more on Linux.

I can already see this turning into a Mac vs. PC thread. My opinion

PC: Gaming, cheaper price, versatile (customizable), great for schools.
MAC: Graphics, Music, Production, great for businesses.

What else? Both are great in my opinion, that's why I own 2.

Apple was owned by Steve Jobs, but thats beside the point, Windows and Apple are two of the biggest most popular companies in the world, but windows still has alot to develop and implement into the design or build quality Apple has had a survey that disabled children, and the rest can use it, yet windows haven't, my point is, Apple is better than windows as it is much cleaner - design, and build? sorry to get you guys mad;P

I have them both too, so in my opinion Mac/Apple are/is better:)

Just spend 1000 and build a high end gaming pc.

what do disabled children tie into this? pc i make it what i want i dont get something already put together in a sweatshop in china

\Macs are nice for rendering, editing, and such. Not the best product for gaming or anything requiring a high graphics card. Macs have the upper hand with the avoiding viruses, only a couple are out there but are hard to get. You're mac will pretty much be the same as the day you got it even after a couple years. I've own a mac for 3 years and recently last week got a pc, both have their differences but macs are also nice for the editing tools that come in handy in life for a faster results imo
