Xenon's are the oldest, cheapest, and are prone to getting rrod, and overheat fast.

-They are good for infecting yourself, but not playing long.

Falcon's are less likely to get rrod, more expensive, and are good for playing offline as they don't overheat as fast as xenon's will.

Jasper is top of the line with almost no rrod problems, don't over heat easy, good for all your jtag needs, but very expensive.

Zephyr and Opus are spin offs of these listed boards.

I'd recommend a falcon.

You can a disc, but i wouldn't. Without one you can learn how to put things on it yourself, learn how to use the XexMenu, and its functions. Up to you though.

I don't have a HDD just two USB's.

One 1gb USB with XexMenu, then a 32gb formatted to computer to hold installed games.

I recommend a RGH slim with 1 TB harddrive, that will give you enough room for all the games you want, no worries about RROD or any other problems. Thats what I have and got rid of my jtags on eBay
