I think there is going to be a public one because look @ battlefield 3 . there wasnt a beta for 1 or 2 and bo just might come out with one for #2

Their might be one their might not be one nobody knows for sure yet if they did release a demo of black ops 2 it will be in a couple of years just like mw2 theirs a demo for that game know.

Someone on my steam freinds list showed that he was playing black ops 2 beta. He told me that he got it from his friend. Tho idk lol

/facepalm at all the people saying no CoD had a beta. CoD 4 and CoD 5 both had betas. When asked about whether or not there will be a beta, Mark Lamia, head of Treyarch said that there is "no need for a beta" because of how short the developing period of the game is. If the game were to be developed per say for 4 years, then there would be a beta because it would have been a huge announcement. Basically he said that you don't need a beta for a game that releases every year,because you don't have to wait a very long time to play the actual game. If you wanna play multiplayer early, go to gamescom in germany and play it there, because they will be revealing BO II multiplayer at gamescom.
