Thats messed up, although there's laws stating your able to shoot anyone whos on your property, I think they should update it and have it, if anyone is doing physical harm, or has a weapon.

If they dont, this will happen again to a innocent person like this

personally i think he shouldn't get manslaughter unless he just shot him for the hell of it but theres no trespassing signs and if he thought his life was in danger ihe is allowed to shoot him but after he was hit in the shoulder he shouldn't have put one in his head.

Those who pass background checks, etc, should always be allowed to own a gun, to protect themselves from the idiots and criminals who own them illegally. Yes, if you take the ability to purchase and own weapons away from people, their will be less guns to go around, BUT most people killing and committing crimes have obtained their weapons illegally anyway.

Yeah and my opinion is coming from a different country where this happened. In Canada, people don't need weapons to protect themselves - Hell most of us leave our doors unlocked at night. There definitely is responsible people out there who can own weapons, I agree. It's just I hate to see things like this even happening though. Now this man's kids aren't going to go grow up with a father - over something as stupid as selling lobster tails and the root of the problem is fire arms.

I disagree the root problem is firearms, I still belive taking all firearms is rediculous becouse the people who cause them to be taken away from honest good people will not just give up a gun. Now the criminal will have a gun but the honest person who is getting robbed (etc.) will no longer have a gun and unless ur a trained killer u will not stand a chance.
