Ouya Info
Developers at Boxer8 have created a new type of console. this console (Ouya) has amazing and up to date technology specs like a NVIDIA Tegra 3 Quad core porcessor. The ouya also has 8 GB flash memory, 1GB of Ram and has two USB ports (2.0).
The Ouya comes with a controller. The controller has the same button layout as the Xbox controller, the only thing that is different about this controller is it has a touch screen smack dap in the middle.
The Ouya does have 1080p with a HDMI jack. Also runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream OS
The connectivity specs for the Ouya are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Blue tooth LE 4.0, and an Ethernet port for straight connectivity to your wireless router, or computer.
The Ouya's starting price will be around 99$ USD and will be no bigger than a Rubix Cube. The Ouya will also be partnered with Mojang so you'll expect to see Minecraft on the Ouya. All the games are free when you first get the Ouya and eventually later on you will have to pay for games. Pre-ordering the Ouya now will supply you with the console before it comes out to retail stores, reserved Online ID (GT), and a Founder Status.
Ouya will be released in March 2013.

If it requires modification to the android software this usualy voids the warrenty.
its like that with almost every android phone so this could be the same as its very easy to brick a android device with a simple task such as rooting

yes but they say that hacking the console will not void your warranty. so you could have it right idk but thats what they said.

The Vita is 3-4 times stronger than this console, and the Vita only has to output 960x544 resolution.
THINK ABOUT THAT FOR A MINUTE.

Yea but the vita also costs more and is designed by sony (A Multi-billion dollar company) not to mention they have alot more experience in developing consoles. BUT! these guys from Boxer8 did something that sony and microsoft havent. and thats listen to the public and see what they want/need in a new console Small, Easy setup, nice layout, open for hacking, and newer and better technology. so yea.

Most likely it will be void if you break it trying to modify the software but if a hardware failure occurs they might still cover it.
its very easy to brick a android device when doing modification to the software so i doubt they will cover it
