I like how r00t & Generation are just completely stomping on everyone's logic.

I love when we can have a legitimate Apple vs. Microsoft/Google/PC manufacturers argument where both sides have actual points to make and defend. This one's especially nice because the Mac side has yet to resort to personal insults. That's how it usually ends. We're doing pretty well by the pyramid as well:

Bringing up price is simply ridiculous, any computer with similar design features cost within 200 dollars of a macbook pro.

No, it's not ridiculous. No, it won't. Asus Prime with 1080p IPS panels. Better specifications, build quality, resolution, design. It's also hundreds of dollars cheaper.

Asus Prime 13 inch $1,096.40

13 inch macbook air $1,199.00
Specs for macbook are slightly better.

That's not hundreds of dollars cheaper, it's 100 dollars cheaper. The Air has better specs, better build quality and a better design than the Asus. It also has a much better trackpad.

with the 100 dollars student discount it actually ends up almost the exact same haha. Not to mention the higher resolution screen, and pre installed photo and video editing software.

There are free software alternatives on PC that have equivalent fucntionality.

The 1080p IPS panel in itself makes the UX31A a better computer.

Well there isn't really much of an arguement to have if you're against 14 year olds that buy anything that looks nice and call it the best, then of course they attempt to insult you after you prove them wrong in every way possible.

Welcome to TTG my friend.

The Asus Prime is cheaper, has a higher resolution screen, similar specifications, and has better battery life with deeper deeper blacks and whites.
