Hmm, since they announced a new trilogy, I expect not.

They might allow him to die and they may introduce a new Spartan super soldier who turns out to be Masterchiefs farther.

The halo series isnt going to die out until MC dies. That will probably be in halo 6(Just guessing the name.) I also can see the brutes coming back, yah you guys forgot about those brutes from H3 didnt you? So there will probably be another kind of Super Weapon like The Halo in the last game, MC dies while saving universe.
