Sync error shouldn't make any difference if you follow what I said and create a new freeboot image with your original nand.

Question is can you boot it to xell. If so put the new freeboot image on a different usb device and flash it or you can use Flash360 rather than xell if you can boot to Freeboot and have a wired controller.

If you can't boot to xell you will need to flash the new freeboot image using USB SPI or LPT.

cant boot and use flash360 because i only put one file on the usb so i can just write the flashdump through booting to xell by hitting the eject button and it wont transfer
