go to your profile the scrolld down and click on rep and rep is reputation

You achieve it by posting and bieng awarded by other members
Its used mostly to give out as a token of appreciation also its your reputation on the site so the more you have the better it looks i guess?

Whenever I give REP it never actually shows up on the persons profile.

Reputation is shown on peoples profiles and posts as this https://www.thetechgame.com/images/rep/rep_green.gif

You can get reputation by either posting 25 times, every 25 posts gets you 1 reputation power.

Or by receiving reputation points by other members, every 100 reputation points gives you a reputation power.

Reputation power is the number on your profile/posts, for example mine is 129.

When giving other members reputation there are limits, if you are a non gold member you can only give up to 25 reputation points, to give this many you must have 25 reputation power - If you have 7, you can only give 7, if you have 8 you can only give 8... the maximum for non golds is 25 so even if you have 250 you can still give 25.

Gold members work the same way except their limit is 50, they still need 50 though and staff members is 100 again they still need 100.
