Well ive got a slim xbox and after a week of playing on the xbox,.. im on COD and i get a msg saying.. "insufficiant airflow. Shutting down xbox. you may turn it on when the red light stops flashing." well i was a little concerned so i let it sit for about hour and a half. Turned it back on and i go to play cod again and it happens again after like 15mins. so i put power brick on top of a hard serface andplace the console horizontally and still doesnt work. It only show the message when im playing a game the fans speeds up super fast and about 10-25 mins later it pops up with the message. Can i fix it?? or should i just return it??? whats wrong even?? If i get a good answer ill +rep....

You may have something blocking the airflow, try vacuuming the the bits on the sides that breathe, if that doesn't work get a professional to look at it, my Xbox broke and I had it sent to Germany for them to fix it, in the end they couldn't and I got a new one free

Best thing to do is reach Xbox Support and speak to the Hardware Department.
