you say you have enough money, think of the long term and how much the cat will cost you.
I have two cats, one cat is 3 years old and the other is 1 years old, as a kitten they can and most probably use up a large amount of your money.
I read somewhere thhat on average it costs you during the cats life around 5000-10000 GBP because they live reasonably long.
I hope this doesnt put you off of getting a cat because you would regret it if you didnt get one.
