when i get wolves there usually in a flat area

There is no "easy way" to get wolves. They are spawn at random. Some people say they find them more in places with a lot of trees though. I found 8 wolfs all at the same time before though. It was random. Just remember where animals keep spawning and go there often and see if the animal respawn are wolves.

I usually find them near Forest biomes. Just stay next to one and carry bones.
