Here is a copy and paste (Don't hate) from the minecraft fourms
modding or decompiling the XBLA version of Minecraft in any way will be deleted and the poster warned. Doing so breaks XBLA's Terms of Use. This includes sharing maps, unfortunately, since you are required to mod the savegame into thinking it's yours.

im pretty sure everyone knows this lol.modding in any game has a risk in getting banned

In what way is modding an offline game trackable? I've been modding since buttons_default on cod4 so don't tell me nothing.

dude, that is the stupidest thing I have ever heard I mean why can't we mod the game with stuff like Texture packs, custom maps, Custom skins, and everything else you can get on PC?

I agree! but at the same time i would never mod my xbox if it is against the terms.

Realize this isnt minecraft making these rules, its Microsoft and they make minecraft enforce the rules because they use their platform, I suggest playing minecraft on pc anyways, it much better and no worries of being banned.
