Is this your first headphone? If not, from what are you coming from? Do you care about portability and isolation? What files and sources do you use to play your songs?

Sorry, I just don't feel that one needs to spend 150 pounds on a first headphone to be able to gain an appreciation for better sound.

The AKG K550 is 180 GBP on Amazon, and if that's too expensive, I'd actually recommend saving a lot of money and going for the Brainwavz HM5, particularly if this is your fist significant headphone purchase. The HM5 is killer for the money and is a great first headphone.

I already have a pair of Beats Studios but I just wanted to say that you are amazing for making this and taking the time to type all of this! Your should receive an award or a special title for this post. I always see you around the website to helping people! Good Job!

"Any" is not very helpful at all. IEMs and over-ear headphones are so markedly different that you DO have to have a preference. I think when I edit the topic for the first birthday of this thread I'll add that as a ground rule.

Over-ear: Creative Aurvana Live, Sony XB700, Sony XB500, Philips Citiscape Uptown

On-ear: AKG K181DJ, AKG K518

In-ear: Shure SE215, Beyerdynamic DTX 71 IE, Fischer Audio Eterna

The Koss DJ100 seems unbeatable for $50 right now. Honestly I'd have a hard time recommending anything else for you.

This is why I tell people other than Ishcabible, loserga, and Parall3l not to give advice here. It always ends up being godawful. Come here to GET advice, please, and read the topic before you post about trash headphones.
