Alot of my friends play it and there seems to be plenty of hype for it on here and it seems decently fun. I have a problem just understanding what the point is, I know you're supposed to make houses and stuff, but whats the slime stuff and zombies

No its not worth it... If you want minecraft get the pc version. I got both and i prefer the pc over the xbox.

If you like Minecraft, get it. If you've never played it before, get it. If you have it on PC, I say only buy it if you're bored on XBOX. It's fun, but it can get boring without friends or tasks.

It depends, and Theirs a thing Called Survival where you set it to whatever Difficulty, and fight Skeletons, Zombies, Creepers etc... But then, you can put it on peacefull and build houses and mess around, and make houses and get ready for Survial mode, I would suggest it, i like it quite a bit, and the slime thing, I still don't know a lot about that, I just play with friends, build citys, and have fun!

It's always fun on normal, that's like the best difficulty I think
