Nothing wrong with the m21 that's my favorite hardcore sniper but I don't play hardcore anymore so...

intervention is the only sniper that requires skill IN MY OPINION

the others are ok, but if it comes to close combat u can just spray with them

I like the intervention more because it is way more accurate at long range, but the scope bounces alot after your shot.(same with any sniper) but the .50 cal is semi automatic for when i just want to mess around

Intervention actually requires more skill than the Barret. It also gives you that more "Sniper" feeling, which goes by the code: 1 shot 1 kill. Though, it is sometimes enjoyable to use the Barret.
