I've been banned from 2 accounts so for.
One (KillerIn3D) from modding my Gamerscore to 40350, modded my avatar color to purple, modded zombies on both WaW and Bo.
Second I got banned on recently probably like 2 or 3 weeks ago. (XoTic Beatz) I went to my email and it said something like this
Tampering with game/xbox
Miss use Of repping
Tampering with system

And some other stuff I think. It happened right after I got in a challenge lobby like 3 weeks ago. So how'ed you get banned?

never been banned modded openly for 2 years now been in countless lobbies with employees of MS have a couple of them on my friend's list and even had my avatar modded for a while but i have never been banned.

I've been in plenty of Q&A sessions with Microsoft and Xbox employees they actually STRONGLY dislike having to ban a player because they have to put a review into the system why an account worth $100's was removed from the system... "It waste our time and our money, we love to play with our members and have fun but we have rules for a reason. -The Pro"

I've only been Banned on 1 Account and it was for a Modded Avatar and I Modded my Gamerscore to around 400,000.
I've hosted WAW and GTA IV Lobbies with ISOs and haven't been banned on the Account I use today.

If you paid for a Recovery Service for MW3 then that might be why you got Banned.

I got a 1 year suspension from Xbox Live for putting something in my motto. I was really pissed because 2 days before I had just redeemed a 1 year Xbox Live Gold Code.

I have had 3
1)Fraud(Perma banned made new account)
2)Recovering a account without permission(Perma banned again made new account)
3)Something to do with cheating, i only cheated(modded) on black ops zombies this account before it got patched(Perma banned made new account)
