Have you tried searching on Google?
I would trust it more than anything anyone would post on here.

One step towards lucid dreaming is to remember your dreams. As soon as you wake up write down your dream in the most detail you possibly can. You also need to be aware that you are dreaming. Look for details that you see in every dream. Every now and then look at your hands or a clock or turn on and off a light switch. In your dreams, your hands will not look normal and numbers on the clock will look funny. If you flip a light switch the light wont turn on. Do this for a couple of week and you should at the very least be able to control your actions in a dream.

I hope this helps.

It's either that or you're not keeping a Dream Journal.
