sometimes that happens. when you make a farm you arnt guareenteed that the slime are gonna spawn. usually it works but sometimes you just get unlucky and they dont spawn. bbut just give it a little time and it will probley work

You need to stand 24 blocks from the Slime chunk in order for them to spawn.

Make sure that it's big enough, also slime do not spawn on glowstone.

Slimes do spawn on Glowstone, my friend has a Slime farm and the whole floor is Glowstone and they spawn a lot.

Just go ham on an area with TNT but it has to be about 5 or 4 levels above bed rock

In some cases it helps if you are not near the area, i heard that if you are a number of blocks away slimes will spawn
