My friend got the update today but once he got the update he can't sign in to s account, he said his Internet is fine but his account will no sign in to Xbox

did something happened to your xbox when you got the new dash? I would call microsoft about it.

Well it was my friends Xbox, he said that that it won't update and now he can't sign in to live because it's as if he rejected the update and I told him to turn it off and on but it just goes to the non new dashboard and that means he can't sign in to Xbox live. I'm trying to help him because I feel guilty because I told him about the new dash

Could clearing system cache make it try and update again because he hasn't actually fully up dated he is just stuck on the dashboard before the beta

If I were you I would tell him to contact xbox. They will help.
