Maybe the Innerfidelity article should be added to the OP.

Many things will be added to the OP, that will be one of them.

After some Battlefield 3, of course.

My previous request was for my brother, I wasn't going to spend any money on headphones but I need some new ones.

Budget: 50-80 GBP (Willing to spend 50, but if there is a significant increment in performance, I'll push to 80)

Music preference: Dubstep, Alternative rock

Type / form factor and portability: In-Ear

Open/Closed (Not for in-ear):

Source(s): Walkman, computer

thankyou.

"Any" is not very helpful at all. IEMs and over-ear headphones are so markedly different that you DO have to have a preference. I think when I edit the topic for the first birthday of this thread I'll add that as a ground rule.

Over-ear: Creative Aurvana Live, Sony XB700, Sony XB500, Philips Citiscape Uptown

On-ear: AKG K181DJ, AKG K518

In-ear: Shure SE215, Beyerdynamic DTX 71 IE, Fischer Audio Eterna
sorry my bad i want something like studios but not too big if you know what i mean i guess it would be over head and i want something that looks nice too

For looks and stuff, the Uptown is very nice. They sound great as well and in the UK they're a deal.

Plenty of good options here. The Dunu DN-11, DN-13, and DN-16, Vsonic GR06 (Ebay), Shure SE215, and the Fischer Audio Consonance would be alright as well if you can find it. If you need help finding any of these, just tell me.

The AKG K518 and Philips Citiscape Downtown are good-looking bassy on-ear phones. See if you like either of them!
