Hello
So if you are 16 and you date a 14 year old BUT you are only a grade higher then them.
Is it bad that you are dating them?
Does age really matter?

I would say yes in that situation. There is a lot of growing and changing between 14 and 16. In the teens, age is a big difference.
I personally don't feel you should cross the 15 year old mark either way. It's getting into dangerous territory when you do.

Well mate I'm 15 and dating a 16 year old and it's fine if that has anything to do with this.

But what if they are both in high school and one was in 10th and the other in 9th?

Not really. I've seen cases where a 17 year old guy is dating a 14 year old girl. You are 18 so you should be safe. Other than that I don't see a problem.

It's kind of unnecessary to go there. He said they're a grade apart, meaning he can be 16 and she'll be 15 and so on.
