Okay, I got CoD4 a few months ago, and i play single player and multiplier. I played MP for a month, half of that time was with my motherboard's video card, and the other half was with a Visiontek Radeon HD 6870 PCIe x16 Gen 2.0 Eyefinity 6 Edition. (link:AMD) So one day I wanted to play CoD4 on the PC and I get the iw3mp has stopped working problem. I looked it up and from what I have read it is a sound issue. I have done everything the internet has said to do and it still gives my that problem. I don't know what to do now and that is how I got here. If anybody can shed some light on this please do it.

try this start single player, then click on the multiplayer tab on the single player menu and it should work
