The Santa Hat has rose because it is a rare item.
Rare items are just getting rarer and rarer.
Because of this there is less supply and means it isn't at market equilibrium, Causing the market price to rise because of the higher demand rates. Yes people having more money is a big factor to it's price gains aswel.

If it isn't discontinued like the Santa, Phat, rares it will never reach high cash. I can promise you this. It will just stay like the DFS or Godsword, end up being common in the future.

you're wrong sir because ags hit 120m back in 09-10 and what about nex armours that are 100m+ how do you explain that? items don't have to be rares to be high priced... LOL, items that are rares just have a sort of boundary were they can't drop under cause to many players would swarm for example the purple party hat which went to like 900m? then rose 100 - 200m after a few weeks.

P.S. Fish masks are going to be discontinued at the end of this summer.

AGS hit a max of 120m? Okay thats nothing compared to what discontinued/rares are at, reached. And if everyones smart they will be getting Fish Masks until then. And IF they are dicontinued, they will reach I high sum of cash, exactly as I said.

Fish masks are being discontinued at the end of Summer. Santas DID take 10 years to reach 100m they came out back in 2001.

everyone thinks that this will be the next super rare, it won't be, it is still obtainable and that for a rare to take the leap into the super rare catagory takes about 3-5 years (non obtainable years), by looking at the way the old rares transpired.
