I believe GameStop sold me a pirated/bootleg/counterfeit copy of Pure. Whenever I insert it into my xbox360 it says 'Play DVD'
In both of the images Pure is the disc on the right. You can see it has a blue bottom which is unusual, and it's missing the Microsoft seal on the bottom. The inner circle also says +R DL which is indicative of a blank DVD lol. The xbox360 seal on top is purple and black, not shiny & reflective. And when held up to light you can't see through the Pure disc while you can see through Mirror's Edge.

It's hard to tell from the top because of the picture but the bottom looks pretty clear

Well I remember when I had a PS2 some of my games had a blue bottom
But the part where you say the inner ring isn't the same seems odd. I'd return it and let them know your concerns

That looks a little weird but maybe it is a water proof barrier or something on it but I have never heard of anything like that before.

It sometimes says that for me with FIFA 12.
Solution: Turn off your Xbox 360, then turn it back on. Open your disk tray, take out the game, then close the disk tray. Open the disk tray once more and put the disk in, then close the disk tray.
Worked for me.

I appreciate teh advice, but my modern warfare 2 used to do that to me as well. I tried the whole on and off, open/close disc tray thing and chatted with microsoft support about it as well.
The guy I spoke to said to return it and have the management verify if it was authentic.

Thats definatly a pirated copy, no xbox games have the purple/blue bottom, and the stuff you said about the inner circle just confirms it. The gamestop employe that took that game should be slapped in the face for taking that mao
