hey GD, i have a question. so i just bought a new desktop, and it should be arriving in five days. i have an antivirus software, kaspersky, downloaded and a subscription good for a year on it. is there anyway i can transfer my antivirus from my laptop to my new computer i will be receiving? i made an account online, so maybe that can help.

I beleive you might be able to do this with an external hard drive. Not to sure though. I moved my Norton 360 over to my computer, so you shouyld be able to with that software. Also if you have an account, you should be able to redownload it, and you can enter your account details on it I'm pretty sure. PM me later on if this does not work.

thanks, i tried to find a client that i could download for when it arrives, but there was also a 30 day trial, do you think if i just downloaded that, that i could sign in and it would add the rest of my subscription to it?

I beleive so, after the 30 day trial, usually anti viruse softwares ask you to go purchase it. Well you can just sign in from there, and you should be able to have it right then.

AV software is just a complete joke. So many viruses are undetected by them it's ridiculous.

Just uninstall Kaspersky from your old computer and re-activated on the new one. If you don't have your activation key, they can resend it to you.
