I have an idea. close sony vegas. then when its closed hold CTRL + SHIFT and open it at the same time. it will pop up a box that says restore sony vegas to default settings. click yes then try importing you clip again. Hope i helped

it has nothing to do with having the cracked version done worry.
first of all, go to Project Video Properties and change the Pixel Format to 8bit. Download the latest version of Quicktime.
Also, be sure to turn the preview move to Preview:Auto (above preview window)
make sure you have the codec for the format you are trying to import/render.
Lastly, make sure your computer is up to par with Sony Vegas system requirement's.

If you still have your crack/keygen i'd suggest uninstalling it from your computer and installing it again that usually works i also use Sony Vegas and it's happened to me once before but i uninstalled and reinstalled and it worked fine
