Windows all the way. Mac isn't a stable OS as mentioned above, and a LOT of programs aren't going to be compatible for it. Also, Macs are way too expensive and you can't even upgrade the specs.

Obviously Windows 7! Mac is too expensive and I honestly doubt that most people can afford it. Plus, Windows is compatible with most of the programs on the market. A definite yes to Windows 7, but an unfortunate no to Mac.

lets have a comparison
mac=4gb ram crap cpu and shit gpu/graphics cost 1000
for the same spec as a apple mac but win7 it would cost u 200s easyly

if u got $1000 to spend save up another 200 and get a toshiba qosmo they are the real shit for gaming
plus there win 7
spec
cpu 2.2-3.6 quad core blueray player hd webcame 8-32 gb ram nvidia grforce gtx 460m+ 1.5gb grapgic dedicated min (can up it to 2.6gb in settings )
and il tell u now its 1000000000% better than a shitty mac

To clarify you can actually upgrade your mac if you actually know what your doing for example in my macbook I upgraded my ram to 16 gb and have a 2.9 ghz core i7 processor that can boost to 3.6 ghz. You can also remove the cd tray and put in an ssd memory. Therefore people saying you can't upgrade it, you actually can and that you can do the same upgrades on a pc that you can on a mac. But the fact that people actually get annoyed about which computer you like better is completely stupid. The reason is because people don't argue back and forth about a certain sport being better than one another, its just personal preference, so whatever you think you'll enjoy more.

When I say Linux, I mean a distro of your choice.
