So WTF happened to being a normal kid at school or being popular for being a jock or being hot? Not saying that that's any better than now. Apparently now in order to be "popular" you have to have swag? So what is swag? It simply means style right? WRONG. It's now been twisted into a **** of things. It now means that you must be required to say YOLO and SWAG every two seconds, wear Jordans that cost $20 to manufacture and were purchased for $200, wear a snapback that typically says the team you supposedly root for but truly you wear it for attention, you must smoke weed all the time and say to everyone about how high you got with your douchebag "friends" that you truly don't like, and apparently listen to mainstream rap that for some reason the songs remain in the top 100 even though they've been played 24/7 every other song on the radio and brag about how AMAZING they are even though they pay people for their so called "original" lyrics. So WTF exactly happened? PLEASE tell me.
EDIT: So many people are getting confused so I'm editing the post. I'm not telling you that you can't smoke weed or wear Jordans. I'm not saying any of it is wrong. But when you brag about it and claim you have "swag" because of it is when you just need to shut the hell up.

Be "popular" in your own way. There are the pot heads, the groupies (consisting of the football players and cheerleaders), band nerds, the drama club kids, the singers, the skate boarders, emo, and weirdos ( those people who are obsessed with anima and wear glasses without lenses in them and suspenders) then there is the normal people. If you don't fit in a group crate ur own trend and make people want to be your friend.

Honestly. I agree 100%.. My friends call me swaggie because thats what they are into. Idk. My rap name is swaggie.

I agree with what you're saying completely, except the fact that smoking weed doesn't mean you have 'swag'. I smoke weed a couple of times every week but it's purely creative, being a musician I find being high great for composing riffs and melodies, and when ever someone says I have 'swag' because of that I give them a lecture on how NOT to be a douchebag.
