I actually need two. One for my PC and one for my iPod.
Budget: Nothing too cheap, but not too expensive.
Music: Rock, Classic Rock, Alternative, Punk, Metal, etc.
Type: Over ear(for PC) and on ear or in ear(for iPod)
Open/Closed: Doesn't really matter. I wouldn't mind some bass, but I don't want it to overpower the music.

Ishcabible wroter00t_b33r wroteIshcabible wrote I've started posting more on HF just because, and it really is quite pointless now. Most everyone cool has left, especially the mods. Wayne McManus (forgot his handle) and Uncle Erik were probably two of the most respected people there, and after they left, it hasn't been the same. MuppetFace is helping though with her insane combination of gearlust and actual sane impressions. But other than that and the ortho thread, it's gotten lame. It's much less intimidating than many other forums, so that's why I stay.
I've been meaning to register at Changstar, but they're all way too...mean.
They just seem goofy at Changstar, jury's still out though for me. Need to lurk a little more.
HF has always seemed intimidating to me, that's why I'm here. I can't think of anywhere less intimidating than TTG, haha!
The people there are nice, and they have my DT48 hostage, but...collectively they're ****.
Eh, you're way more experienced than 60% of the posters. The fact that you find Dsnuts annoying puts you ahead of most of them.
It only takes one bad purchase for you to realize that he's "nuts"... Luckily I'd only spent $28 before finding that out.
Before I signed up for Head-fi I hung around in the anythingbutipod forums for a few years (I got my CX300s, M6s, and iM-590s because of their recommendations), and the people there (like dfkt) always seemed to be a lot more saner.
