Ok, I need to email someone my gamertag file does anyone have a link or something with a how to on this?
I know it would be easier to just let them recover it but that's not possible.

I have a rough idea, go on to your email then type in the person's email who you want to send it to then type in you 're gamertag and click the "send" button.

Upload your profile to Mediafire, then email whoever the link to the download.
Simple as that.
(and i don't know why you say recovering your profile is not possible, it is 100% possible)

Is it as simple as putting it on a USB then will show up fine when I put the USB in my laptop? Not extra programmes needed to read it?

100% possible it' is not trust me, seems to be a problem with my windows live I'd and it won't recover
