Ok, so editing a patch is simple. Things you need are

1: A Modmenu

Ok, cod4 modmenus are GSC files so, just open the GSC files with note pad and find the text and change it

Mw2, is the same GSC but I will save you time all the text or most of it in under "GameTypes" open the gsc and look for the text and change it

WaW is .FF For this you will need ".FF Veiwer" to edit the mod menus for waw.
just find your text and change it.

Ok now to edit controls.

if you see "Press Unbound" to do something it's not the modmenu it's your controls. just go in the options and any key that says "Unbound" change it to a key that is not in use. then text the keys out. Simple enough?||

for the GSC files do i click use find another program to open this with cause then if i were to click notepad it would make all my files into note pad files://

im not positive but i think you can use the simple hex editor to do this

Last time I checked you can not. because each game needs other formats.

yeah i know but if i open a GSC file it would make every program and icon as a notepad file idk why but it would

Ever, when i convert Ps3/Xbox patches to pc and will play with it, than i change the controlls and Year dont working...
