I feel like so much people comment on these new peoples post just basically to raise post count, its very annoying too because every post says the same exact thing

A I did that once I posted like 5 posts welcoming people without realizing what I was doing then a moderator told me I was spamming and asked me to stop, but at least someone informed me what I was doing or I would have kept doing it.

It usually is spammed like mad, but if you're welcoming people it's fair I guess, especially if you help them.
