Ok my birthday is coming up now in September and since January i have had an open tray error so i am thinking of getting a new xbox do you think i should because i heard rumours of a new xbox coming out around Christmas also if i mature enough to think about studying for exams this year i may not get to play it that much at all but i miss the banter i can have online so i am just wondering should i wait it out or get one for my birthday if i wait it out till june i will miss out on all big games this year fifa 13 biggest for me used to be COD Addict but my mam may buy 1 if i do well in exams
So my options are

1:get it September early in school term play up till Christmas and study from 2013 till June in moderation

2:get it Christmas if new console is being released

3:wait it out till June 2013 and get it as an award off my mam for studying hard and hopefully get good results in exams + my birthday will be September 2013 money to spare

people think they new xbox is coming out in december 2012 xD they havent even said anything and its only 4 months away

If all the is wrong is a disc tray error and if your warranty is already void(has ended) then why don't you open up your xbox and then open up the disc tray and clean the track, that is all it is. the track is either full of gunk and dust or has skipped and got stuck. why pay another couple hundred when it cost like 5$ or less to do that.

ya and also i know u can buy disk tray cleaning disks thta you put inside you xbox and they clean it pretty much and they only cost like 6.50 for 5 of them

just buy a new one it could be years till the next console
